Arches 88
A bright white waterleaf paper with a smooth surface on both sides, Arches 88 is ideal for monotypes, silk screen, lithography and intaglio. (Do not soak Arches 88 in a water bath. Like handmade paper and other unsized papers, it will dissolve if left too long. If you wish to dampen it, use a damp pack.)
Because it is not sized, it absorbs ink freely even when it is dry. Arches 88 is perfect for printing with Akua Liquid Pigment on dry paper. With Akua Intaglio inks, drying can be slow depending on how much ink is used. Arches 88 is acid free.
Unsized and mould made with two deckle edges and two torn edges.

Rives BFK
A classic, white printmaking paper with a very slightly textured surface. Rives BFK can be used for all printmaking techniques, including relief, monotype, silk screen, lithography and itaglio. It is internally sized for controlled ink absorption. Rives BFK is acid free and buffered with Calcium Carbonate.
