Retarder and Blending Medium are good modifiers if you are making monotypes or monoprints. Extender is more useful for moku hanga and Extender and Tack Thickener if you are using the ink for linocuts or woodcuts. If you would like to substitute Tack Thickener or Extender for the modifiers shown, please let us know under "Special Instructions" in your Shopping Cart.
